River’s Edge, A Tuscan Grille brings to Kerrville a vision of fine Northern Italian cuisine, outstanding wine selections and beautiful scenery in an elegant yet casual atmosphere. At River’s Edge, you can dine in anything from formal wear to jeans and experience the finest food, wine and personal service in the Hill Country. The restaurant does not only have a view of the Guadalupe River, it actually juts out and appears to be floating over the water.

River’s Edge was began in 2006 by Texas native, Chef / Owner Blake Pickett. He found the perfect venue to complement his passion for Northern Italian cuisine. After 2 1/2 successful years, Blake decided to change direction, and sold the River’s Edge to restauranteur and fellow Texas native, Michael Jones. Michael brings over twenty years of restaurant experience to the table. He has been a General Manager of several large restaurants and is committed to continuing the superb food, wines, and professional service that River’s Edge has been known for.
Our lunch and dinner menus are prepared lovingly by our professionally-trained chefs with only the freshest ingredients. They take pride in the dishes they prepare and execute with the highest of standards. We offer daily lunch and dinner specials, and all desserts are made fresh in-house.
Complimenting the fine Northern Italian menu you will find a wide and varied selection of wines. We have crafted an extensive and well-balanced wine list, with 50% of the list consisting of Italian. The list also features fine American wines, as well as, wines from other regions around the world. Ask our wine steward, Flora Applewhite, to assist you in your selection. She shares her passion for food and wine by only selecting wines of high quality, and those that pair well with our menus.
The combination of our breath-taking ambiance, traditional Tuscan dishes, large selection of wine and beer, with friendly, knowledgeable Hill country service, will make a dining experience you won’t forget.
